Disney Frozen 2 Anna & Elsa Figurine Play Set - 6-Piece Collectible Dolls for Kids, Perfect for Birthday Gifts & Disney Movie Night Playtime

Bought this for my daughter's 5th birthday. She and my 6yo are insane over this movie. She (like most children) tends to play with toys that are given to her on her birthday. These are all she wanted for her 5th birthday. Day 2 of owning these "toys", and 2 of the figures have already broken. These overpriced figures, to me, are a good representation of what Disney has become. I listened to a soccer mom tell an insane story about going to Disney World, paying extra money to show up right when the gates open to run through the the park beating out other Disney patrons who are racing for the same reason, then stand in line for an additional 2 hours to be on of the first customers to take a picture... wait... let me get this right... take a picture standing next to a real woman who is dressed like a princess from a Disney ANIMATED film. Buying these toys and watching how sad my daughter looked when they broke made me feel as dumb as that soccer mom sounded for wasting hours of her children's valuable lives standing in line to take a picture next to a park employee because they are wearing the same dress as an animated character in one of their films. Writing this makes me think that I will always opt for taking my kids on vacations to places that do not need fantasy in order to be fun. These toys are the embodiment of what their theme parks deliver. The illusion of happiness. Way to go Disney...I ordered this set for my girls as a gift. Waited a long time to receive the package. When it came the box was smashed flat. Two of the characters heads were broke off. I super glued them back on & contacted the seller. The damage was not the sellers fault but I contacted them and they refunded my money in full and did not require me to send the set back. I would recommend this play set and would use this seller again, because of how they handled this problem so efficiently.This is our 3rd set of these frozen figurines (3 daughters - what do you do.) Grandma purchased the first two in store. When I tried to find them in store for my third daughter, they were no longer sold. So I turned to online. These should be the same set as we already have, but they were very discolored. Anna had orange hair, Hans had hot pink lips, Elsa had a gray streak in her hair. I was so disappointed, but needed them for a birthday that week so didn't have time to return and find something new.After my daughter saw the movie Frozen, of course, she was Frozen crazy! So for Christmas I​ wanted to find her some items. Most retailers were sold out and were not getting items in till after Christmas. I found this on Amazon and to be honest, was hesitant about purchasing it without seeing the quality face to face. I worried that it was a Chinese knock off. But to my surprise it was just like the $40 & $50 items in the retail stores. The quality was great and my daughter just loves them!I do not know why they have these in the toy section - perhaps they would be ok for figurines to keep on a shelf away from children. Less than 1 hour after opening the package Anna lost her head. Now my granddaughter is 4, but she is careful with her toys. Anna fell to the wooden floor from a height of about 2 1/2 feet. The head was almost off when she brought it to me and in the process of putting it in my hand, it fell off. This is not a toy - in my opinion it is a piece of junk. She is less upset than I for she believes grandma can fix just about anything and, as I said, she is 4. She loves Frozen and knows the script almost completely. To add to the insult of being sold a defective product, I saw this yesterday on the Disney store site for a little over $12 and I paid more than $30 to Amazon for thisVery good. My kid loved it. But after a couple of weeks, the base of some of the figures went off, that I had to hot glue it againFigurens where good. Used them as a cake topper for my daughters 5th birthday. My only complaint is I purchased and had them delivered to my home all for the cost of 47.02. When I took it out of the box everything look as expected but the price tag was left on the box and it was for 12.95. I realize this was a rip off. WAY over priced and I even used standard delivery.Package was damaged (plastic over the figurines) so if I was using it as a collectors item and not opening it it would have lost value. Luckily I wasn't and my daughter was happy to see them appear on her cake :)
