Another great set from the Lick Library. The LL series gives you the best in tuition with guitarists who are experts in their own field. This is a two disc set, disc 1 has Rebel Rebel, The Jean Genie and Ziggy Stardust and disc 2 has Moonage Daydream and Suffragette City. The tutor on this set is Michael Casswell a freelance guitarist and producer. Michael has played and toured with some of today's big names as well as playing on TV and film soundtracks. He is also a Bowie fan so it must have been a walk in the park for him to show others how to play the songs. The DVDs are easy to follow and each step is taken a little at a time. This set gives you about 3 hours of tuition, which can set you back anywhere between £60 to £90 if you were to get a guitar tutor in to give you lessons. The set retailed for £24.99 but you have cheaper options on Amazon. I have a few of these Lick Library DVDs and I haven't had a bad one yet, all well set out easy to follow...only drawback was my guitar skills but you learn a lot from the various discs. The series covers a wide range of rock and pop bands, by musicians who could play their guitars.The LL series also gives you a web site where you can find Guitar Jams, view guitar lessons online and there is also a free digital magazine. They cover all bases. Enjoy the tuition and learn some great songs.
